Larry has provided corporate finance and business advice to management teams and corporate boards in a variety of industries. With over twenty-five years of management consulting and advisory experience in M&A and capital raising, Larry is the founder and CEO of LR Johnson Associates LLC, a provider of specialty food items and amenities under the LRJ Foods banner, and a boutique business consulting firm with a focus on the food industry. Larry is also affiliated with the investment banking firm of Diamond Capital Advisors, where he offers the firm’s clients the consulting capabilities of LR Johnson Associates LLC.
In 2006, Larry also founded Passage Foods Group, LLC, a company focused on the development, and sale of ethnic cooking sauces for retail markets. Larry’s businesses serve such names as MGM Resorts, Publix Markets and Ahold.
Larry is active in Rotary International, having served as President of his local Rotary Club. He is active as a community youth leader and also as a member of a blues and rock band. Larry received his MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Economics from Boston College. An avid golfer, Larry also is an aficionado of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
David Couper has twenty years’ experience developing peoples’ talents and coaching executives and managers in transition. As a career coach his successes range from coaching managers in Tokyo to supporting producers in Hollywood. He is President of DAC Associates, a consultancy firm which partners with large organizations on various career coaching, organizational development and training projects including change management, coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution. As an author he has published eight books. His latest -“Outsiders On The Inside: Creating A Winning Career…Even When You Don’t Fit In” . He is also a speaker and presenter who has worked with large groups including BAFTA-LA, UCLA Extension, Women In Film, Arthur Andersen, and Ameritech. As a training leader working on training, excutive coaching, organizational development, and change management projects, he was responsible for teams of up to 25 people and has been accountable for budgets of up to $1.5M. He has designed for virtual classrooms, online training, satellite television, video, for blended solutions. David is a certified master trainer in Leadership. He has joint US/UK citizen and has lived in Asia and Europe.
Marc H. Kalan
Marc H. Kalan is a consumer marketing veteran with over 30 years of industry expertise. An engaging presenter, Kalan combines senior marketing management experiences from client, agency and marketing services vendors (Fortune 500 to entrepreneurial start-ups) giving him the unique ability to see issues and opportunities from multiple perspectives.
Upon a foundation of 10 years in Marketing Management at client companies (American Can, Warner-Lambert and Thompson Medical), Marc has built a record of entrepreneurial accomplishments: VP Marketing at In-Store Advertising, VP Sales at Inter-Act Systems, and VP Sales/Business Development/Client Services at planetU, USM&P, and MarketSource IMS.
His extensive expertise includes: creating impactful marketing programs in the on-line, field and event, guerilla and sampling spaces; managing and building marketing, account and sales teams, in both On-Line and Off-Line spaces (media and promotion); identifying, qualifying, and selling new revenue generating business while developing strong client relationships. The over 40 major clients he has worked with include: Proctor & Gamble, BP/Castrol, ING Direct , Pfizer, Glaxo SmithKline, J&J, Pepsico, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Wyeth, Kraft, Del Monte Fresh, Hershey, Playtex, Sara Lee HBC, Ralston-Purina, Seagram’s Chateau Wines, Kodak, Colgate, and Binney & Smith.
Combining industry with academia, since 2003 Kalan has taught a wide variety of Marketing courses on the university level (undergraduate, graduate, executive programs) at: Rutgers University School of Business; Fairleigh Dickinson University, Silberman College of Business; William Patterson University, Costakas School of Business; and Kean University School of Business. Fall, 2010 he taught Advertising & Promotion in the Rutgers International Executive MBA program in Beijing.
Marc currently serves as EVP & Chief Marketing Officer for LR Johnson Associates. He is a former member of The Point of Purchase Advertising Institute’s Board of Directors and Founding Co-Chair of POPAI’s Association of In-Store Marketing.
Kalan holds degrees from The University of Pennsylvania (BA ’73) and The Columbia University Graduate School of Business (MBA ’76).

Patty Civalleri has produced many types of media products over the past 15 years, including websites, video productions, printed media, specialized photography, and more. In addition, she has taught various Photoshop classes and Digital Photography & software workshops. For 3 years, she had a regular-running column in Presentations Magazine. Her work has been published in over 50 publications throughout my career.
Civalleri has a solid background in high-tech marketing & sales with IBM and Star Technologies Inc, and she is able to produce many types of multimedia with a keen eye towards increasing sales.
